Metask and Crypto.com: an annoying transaction
As a digital currency enthusiast, I recently found an unusual problem with the metamark wallet and its connection to the Crypto.com exchange platform. The problem began when I tried to send a PEPE currency (PEP currency) from the metamark portfolio to Crypto.com Ethereum (ETH). What followed was a confusing result that allows me to think if something didn’t work well.
Here is as happened:
- Transfer Initiation : First, I started the transfer by sending the PEP currency from my metamark wallet (
0x ...)) to my ethpto.com address.
- Confirmation of Conclusion : After receiving Crypto.com confirmation that the transaction was successful, I checked my metamark balance to see if the PEP currency was successfully sent. Yes, it appeared in my balance, but something didn’t seem correct.
The mystery deepens
As I deepen the problem, I discovered two different results:
* The Crypto.com website the quantity and other details were accurate.
* ETHERUMSCAN : Instead, when I checked Ethereumscan (a popular blockchain explorer on the web), there was no evidence that the PEP currency be deposited in my eths wallet.
Possible reasons behind the problem
There are several possible reasons why this transaction may not be working as expected:
